A Vice-President is generally the person who goes out to do the President's public "dirty" work. I just watched Governor Pawlenty this weekend and realized there is a problem with his desire to be Vice-President.
Pawlenty's affable state wide public persona, "Minnesota Nice", does not play well on television when trying to be an attack dog for McCain. Pawlenty looked uncomfortable and awkward in this position, though I thought his points about Obama were right on.
Maybe it was just me being from Minnesota. However, I think others might sound a similar note in the coming days that the attack dog persona will need some work if he is going to fit into that role.
