The Minnesota Constitutional Amendment Nighmare begins

I continue to have some grave concerns about the future of Minnesota politics. The legislature submitted bills at a record pace this year. To my dismay a good number dealt with amendments to our state Constitution.

Here is just one that I have to assume would have a great chance at passing because it sounds good, yet, the economic damage to our state this bill WILL create is not calculable right now.

The first is a constitutional Amendment to require the legislature to provide law for quality public education, comprehensive health care, an economic and social environment conducive to living wage jobs, a safe and reliable transportation system, and clean and safe environment, including at a minimum adequate and sustainable funding.
