New Minnesota Politics (continued)

My article:

New Minnesota Politics talked about party vs. principle from a different perspective based on what occurred with the GOP in Alaska.

This weekend I had the chance to read a post on Rejecting party & principle alike by Craig Westover. In particular, I was impressed with one paragraph by Mr. Westover.

I would encourage you read this well written article. (I hope one day to match his writing ability) It sums up the philosophical struggle many are having in the younger generations. It brings another helpful dimension for those witnessing the changes within state and national politics.

Rejecting party and principle alike
by Craig Westover

I am a strong believer in voting principle over party. But one joins a political party because of common principles. When one opposes his party, it had better be because the party has wandered away from those principles, not because common sense and popular opinion make it expedient for the legislator to waver.
