Obama’s Foreign Policy Pandering ….. is not Judgment

Hillary Clinton cannot give the real reason why Obama gave his 2002 speech at an anti-war rally stating he was against the war. I am surprised I have not heard anyone in the media point it out either. She cannot say it because she would offend the very liberals in the party she needs to win. Thus both Clinton and Obama are getting a ridiculous pass on foreign policy discussions, and the real loser appears to be the general public.

Liberals always show up and give anti-war speeches at anti-war rallies just like the sun rises every morning in the East. Obama was not exercising some keen sense of judgment back in 2002. He was simply pandering to a crowd of supporters and following the same playbook that has been a part of the far left for decades.

Even now with the success of the surge Obama runs the real risk of looking quite foolish by the time the general election gets into full swing. Imagine if the Iraqi government continues to meet other major benchmarks between now and summer. It is odd but Obama’s weakness on the war, in my opinion, is the real reason why Clinton is still around with a shot at the nomination. Strange but true!!
