Otremba significant 2006 votes

2006 Legislative Session:

She voted against allowing Hennepin County Citizens the right to vote on a $1 Billion dollar local sales tax increase to fund a new Twins stadium.

She voted for a $1 Billion dollar bonding bill that was loaded with pet projects from all over the state.

She voted for requiring taxpayer subsidies on the Northstar Commuter Rail line rather than requiring it to be fully funded through fare and operational revenues.

She voted for a transfer $1 Billion in unfunded liabilities to state tax payers from the Minneapolis Teachers Retirement Fund.

She voted for anti-free market legislation which creates monopolies in certain areas of the medical field. (i.e. raising prices on consumers because of no competition.)
